Personal Data Protection Policy

This Policy is in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of personal data.

• Collecting of information

The Tourism Act obliges us to collect the minimum required personal data when registering guests in the hotel. For your security, we might make video records of guests and visitors in the complex’s public spaces. In each event involving the participation of our guests or during the preparation of such event, it might be necessary to collect personal data such as names, telephone numbers, emails, addresses, etc; however, such data shall be collected only for the specific purpose and shall be of the minimum scope, which is required to achieve the said purpose. The personal data that are collected at the gusts’ registration are legally required and defined by the law.  

• Social networks

If you participate in social networks, it would be good to know that we encourage the sharing of information about your stay with us, in texts and/or by pictures. If the photographs show other persons, you need to obtain their consent as well.

• Personal data received from third parties.

The involvement of third parties is a daily practice in our relations, like for example the tour operator through whom you have booked and/or paid your stay, or organizers of events. They have contracts for handling of personal data signed with us; thus the protection of your personal data is our legal engagement as per Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

• Sharing of personal data

While trying to offer you products and services of the best quality, we might share information with suppliers and trading partners with whom we have agreements as per Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of personal data. For example, when planning a group event or a meeting, we collect information which might be shared with the organizers and/or our trading partners whose products and services are included in our package provided to you. The sharing of information in all other cases is done only as provided by the law. Aquamarine Hotel does not provide personal data outside this country.

• Joint processing

For the assurance of maximum security and comfort for our guests, when working with tour operators or other partners concerned with the provision of information or services, Aquamarine Hotel always concludes contracts/agreements for personal data processing as per Regulation 2016/679.
